The new BMW X7 - Modern front end in the new style of BMW's top models

The new BMW X7 sets an impressive scene with its extensively redesigned front end. At the same time, the new design of the vehicle front provides a clear differentiation from the other BMW X models. The new structure and design of the front end focuses on the characteristic BMW design features of the twin headlights, whose reinterpretation emphasizes the vehicle's upright stature and reinforces its presence on the road. For the first time, two-part headlamp units are used to generate the daytime running lights and illuminate the road. They divide the tasks of providing clear visibility and increasing attention between two separate modules arranged one above the other. Horizontal light elements in the upper area of the front are responsible for the signaling functions. There, two LED units each, which appear to shine directly out of the narrow cover glass, form the daytime running lights. With their precise contours, similar to the shape of a horizontal L, they convey a high-quality and technically sophisticated appearance and enhance the vehicle's presence. The daytime running lights also perform the function of the direction indicator. Here, light signals pulsating in rapid succession with weaker and stronger intensities provide a striking staging of the turn signal and hazard warning function in the style of a heartbeat frequency (not available on the U.S. automotive market).
