Three quarters of all hospitals in Lower Saxony threatened

The situation in Lower Saxony's hospitals is becoming increasingly acute. According to a recent survey by the Lower Saxony Hospital Association, the long-term existence of more than three quarters of hospitals is now threatened. Previously, this applied to around two-thirds. Before the city hall in Hanover representatives:inside of the society pointed therefore on Thursday health Minister Daniela Behrens (SPD) again to the strained situation. The state has already increased investment funding for hospitals. In view of the figures presented, however, this does not seem to be enough.
