On February 17, 2023, the 16th season of "Let's Dance" started with the big get-to-know-you show. After that, a new episode can be seen every Friday (except Good Friday) at 8:15 p.m. on RTL. In each episode, a celebrity known on TV and a professional dancer dance together. The celebrity is trained by the professional. The dance couples have a few days for their respective training. The live shows always take place on Fridays on RTL. There, the couples compete against each other in standard and Latin dances. Unlike in the first seasons of the show, the repertoire now also includes fashion dances, which have to be mastered. At the end of each dance performance, a jury evaluates the dance with sometimes humorous comments. At the end of the show, RTL's TV viewers vote by telephone to determine which dance couple will advance. In the final episode of the show, three couples compete with three dances each.
