The new Abarth 500e - More Abarth than ever before

The new Abarth 500e combines the power of electric drive with style and powerful sound. Thanks to optimal weight distribution, the torque of the electric drive available practically from a standstill and the longer wheelbase, the new Abarth 500e is even more agile than its counterpart with a gasoline engine. In fact, the new Abarth 500e accelerates one second faster from 20 to 40 km/h. In this speed range, which is important in city traffic, it is about 50 percent more powerful than an Abarth with a gasoline engine. From 40 to 60 km/h, the new Abarth 500e accelerates in just 1.5 seconds. Even when overtaking, typically when accelerating from 60 to 100 km/h, the new Abarth 500e outperforms a comparable gasoline engine by about one second. In addition, the new Abarth 500e offers secure handling and superior driving dynamics, which is particularly noticeable at higher cornering speeds. In short, the new Abarth 500e is more Abarth than ever before. Equipped with a 42 kWh battery and a high-torque electric motor, the new Abarth 500e combines the performance familiar to a vehicle with the scorpion emblem with the innovation of electric mobility, including locally zero emissions. The range is up to 265 kilometers. At appropriate charging stations, the batteries of the new Abarth 500e can be recharged with up to 85 kW of direct current. Five striking colors are available for the new Abarth 500e and Abarth 500e Turismo: Antidote White (standard), Venom Black, Adrenaline Red, and the exclusive Acid Green and Poison Blue hues.
