The fuel consumption of the new Alfa Romeo Tonale Plug-In Hybrid Q4 is extremely economical, while at the same time emissions are reduced. The drive's battery is fully charged in less than two and a half hours when using the on-board charger, which allows a charging current of up to 7.4 kilowatts. The four-wheel drive system of the new Alfa Romeo Tonale Plug-In Hybrid Q4 combines the front axle driven by the combustion engine with rear-wheel drive realized by the electric motor. This configuration guarantees the driving pleasure typical of Alfa Romeo, as well as low weight, exemplary agility and high driving dynamics. The new Alfa Romeo Tonale Plug-In Hybrid Q4 combines efficiency and environmental protection with superior sportiness. With a system output of 206 kW (280 hp), it accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in just 6.2 seconds. Top speed is 135 km/h with electric power or 206 km/h in hybrid mode. The electronically controlled all-wheel drive ensures a particularly intense acceleration experience because the electric motor on the rear axle provides its full torque practically from a standstill.
