More sporty elegance is not possible: The two electric cars Volvo EC40 and Volvo EX40 and the conventionally powered Volvo XC40 are available for the 2025 model year for the first time in the Black Edition. The exclusive special models, whose production starts in April 2024, combine a black exterior with a dark accented interior and high-quality equipment. The name is program with the Black Edition already known from larger Volvo model series: The vehicles are entirely in black. In addition to the Onyx Black paintwork, for example, the exterior mirrors, the contrast roof, and the window surrounds also present themselves in elegant high-gloss black. The front is adorned with a black Black Edition sport grille (Volvo XC40) or a closed black grille panel (Volvo EX40 and Volvo EC40), in the center of which is also a black Volvo logo.
