Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have ended their engagement after nine years together, confirmed by People following an initial report from TMZ. The breakup rumors surfaced after it was reported that Bloom would attend Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's wedding alone while fiancée Perry continued her world tour. The "Lord of the Rings" star has since been seen leaving the Gritti Palace Hotel in Venice on his way to the elaborate ceremony. Neither Perry nor Bloom have publicly commented on it. Their representatives have not responded to inquiries. The two met in 2016 at a Golden Globes afterparty and argued over an In-N-Out burger. Perry recalled: "He dove in and took it. I said, 'Hey, that's my burger!'" They briefly split in 2017 but got back together the following year, announcing their engagement in 2019. "It was very sweet. It was Valentine's Day... we went to dinner, and I thought we were going to see some art after dinner, but we stopped at a helicopter. We landed on a roof [in Los Angeles] - my whole family was there, and all my friends. He did so well," Perry said about their engagement. The couple welcomed their daughter Daisy Dove in 2020. Bloom also has a son, Flynn, with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
