"They want to do something to people"

Because the evangelical company Diakoneo in Neuendettelsau, Bavaria, Germany, has too few skilled workers, it recruits people directly from Spain. They work in various residential groups for people with disabilities. To help the Spaniards settle in well, they receive not only language courses and support with bureaucracy but also a shared flat and leisure activities. The goal is a long-term collaboration.
