EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen emphasized at the G20 summit in Johannesburg in connection with a possible end to the Ukraine war that decisions should not be made over Kyiv's head. "Ukraine must have the freedom and sovereign right to choose its own destiny," she stated. And Kyiv has chosen Europe.
