On the 70th National Day, Eva Glawischnig and Andreas Mölzer discuss neutrality, NATO membership, and the future of conscription. Both surprisingly agree on one thing: Conscription for women and men would be conceivable. Mölzer calls for a return to general national service as an expression of civic responsibility. Glawischnig supports the idea of a social duty year - also for older generations and for the benefit of the community.
