The club house of the Haßmersheim boat club sank in the Neckar in mid-October up to the roof. On Saturday, divers and THW were able to salvage it. First, the destroyed wooden house had to be set upright again, in order to then be disposed of neatly by components. For this purpose, a large crane from Heidelberg and a dredging ship from Neckarsteinach were ready. The use of divers from the Speyrer Motorsportclub and eleven helpers from the local Technical Relief Organization (THW) was also required. The club house, which had been in use in Greffern for three decades, had served well in Haßmersheim for 25 years. The club members had invested a lot of passion and self-help to renew and maintain it. ➡️ To find out what will happen to the club house and how it sank in the first place, read on at stimme.de
