EU will increase pressure on Russia with new sanctions

With a new sanctions package affecting the import of Russian liquefied natural gas, the European Commission aims to increase pressure on Russia in the Ukraine conflict. Commission President Ursula von der Leyen called on EU member states in Salzburg to quickly approve the new sanctions.
