Scientists at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in the Netherlands have developed a new algorithm that allows multiple autonomous drones to work together to lift and transport heavy and bulky loads. The system seeks to overcome the capacity limitations of individual drones and is considered ideal for maintaining hard-to-reach infrastructure, such as offshore wind turbines, even in windy conditions.
