Deadly Monsoon Rain in Nepal: Flash Flood Washes Away Border Crossing to China

Flash floods and landslides destroyed the Rasuwagadhi border crossing between China and Nepal on Tuesday. Heavy monsoon rain suddenly caused the Bhotekoshi River to swell. An important connecting bridge, buildings, and hundreds of E-cars prepared for import were washed away. 18 people are missing. Rescuers have retrieved nine bodies from the debris.
