Right at the beginning, Merz clears out special representatives - the complete list of cuts

Friedrich Merz cuts numerous special representatives. Positions for bureaucracy reduction and feminist foreign policy are being eliminated. The topics will be addressed directly in the ministries. Positions such as the Commissioner for Eastern Germany will remain. The measure is intended to promote more efficient administration and reduce bureaucracy. In total, 25 positions are being cut. 13 of them will be located in the ministries, the remaining twelve will be cut without replacement.
