Lufthansa discontinues onboard sales: Two reasons behind the decisive measure

Lufthansa discontinues onboard sales on long-haul flights. The airline deems the sales as not profitable. The storage space for duty-free goods is needed for other purposes. The decline in demand for duty-free items reinforces this decision. The traditional onboard sales will end in September 2025. The online catalog and the airport stores of the Worldshop remain available.
