The approximately 2.5 million employees of the federal government and municipalities will receive 5.8 percent more money in two stages. This was agreed upon by the public employers with the unions Verdi and the Civil Service Federation in the fourth round of wage negotiations for the public service, as Federal Interior Minister Nancy Faeser (SPD) said in Potsdam after the fourth round of wage negotiations.
