The election commission in Bucharest has excluded the right-wing extremist presidential candidate Calin Georgescu from the upcoming election in May. No reasons were given for this. Georgescu had won the first round of the presidential election in November. However, the Constitutional Court declared the vote invalid due to Russia's excessive interference in the election campaign. Georgescu then led all polls.
