Tulsi Gabbard appeared before the US Senate on Thursday. The 43-year-old is Donald Trump's nominee for Director of National Intelligence. In that role, Gabbard would oversee 18 US intelligence agencies. The former congresswoman had previously defended Putin and Assad's actions and blamed the US for conflicts.
