The mood between the partners Germany and Denmark regarding the planned Fehmarn Belt crossing is currently not the best, especially on the Danish side. In our northern neighboring country, there are concerns that Germany may not be able to meet the schedule by 2029 due to the complex hinterland connection. Denmark is particularly worried about the renovation of the dilapidated Fehmarn Sound Bridge between Fehmarn and the mainland.
