Explosion after gas leak: At least eight dead in house collapse in Caracas

In the Caracas metropolitan area, a three-story building with dozens of residents collapsed on Monday morning after a gas explosion. At least eight people, including two infants, lost their lives. 22 other residents were injured. The accident occurred in Petare, one of the largest slums in Venezuela.
