On Monday evening, an elderly driver in the center of Seoul hit waiting pedestrians at a pedestrian crossing. Nine people died, and four others were injured. According to media reports, the driver had been traveling in the wrong direction and collided with two cars. The man claimed he acted unintentionally.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer says the UK is "establishing the facts" of a British passenger who was the sole survivor of an Air India flight that crashed after takeoff from Ahmedabad.
