A spokesperson for Prince Harry has stated that he will not be meeting with his father, King Charles, during his visit to London. Prince Harry has returned to the United Kingdom to attend a thanksgiving service at St. Paul's Cathedral marking the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games. The Invictus Games were established as a sporting event for injured and sick military personnel and veterans. This will be the first major event he has participated in in the UK for some time. A spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex explained that due to the King's "full" schedule, it is "not possible" for him to see his father. "In response to the many inquiries and ongoing speculation about whether the Duke will meet his father during his stay in the UK this week or not, this is unfortunately not possible due to His Majesty's full schedule," said Prince Harry's spokesperson. The statement expressed that Prince Harry "naturally" understands King Charles's royal duties and he "hopes to see him soon".
