Baerbock warns of "major escalation" after Hamas attack on Israel

After the unprecedented attacks by the radical Islamic Hamas on Israel, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock (Greens) expressed concern about an escalation of the situation. The Foreign Office therefore strongly advises against traveling to the region.
