Christian Schwiddessen: Petersberg needs a fresh start

Dear Petersberg residents, On October 8th, the mayoral election will take place. You will decide on the future development of our community. In many encounters and conversations, I have been able to gather valuable experiences and received much sympathy. For that, I thank you warmly. I have conducted this election campaign objectively and without personal attacks according to my own standards, openly, honestly, and fairly. Hand on heart: Perhaps my smile was not friendly enough for one person, I forgot to personally greet another, or in the heat of the moment, I even mistook them. I may have been too reserved for some, too casual for others. Perhaps there was not enough time to talk to everyone. Take me as I am - with all my strengths and weaknesses. I have felt that I am carried by your approval and sympathies; this makes me confident. Oriented towards the concerns of the citizens, free from current political issues and parties, I want to dedicate myself with all my heart, mind, and full strength to our Petersberg.
