Icy cold at Ibrox Stadium, plus a 0:3 (0:2) pack against Rangers. And yet there was positive news at Bayer Leverkusen's test match in Scotland. National player Florian Wirtz was back on the pitch for the first time after rupturing his cruciate ligament and taking a total of 272 days off. The 19-year-old was allowed to play from the 62nd minute. "I'm looking forward to celebrating victories again," Wirtz revealed with a view to the second half of the Bundesliga and the knockout rounds of the Europa League.
