Spring is just around the corner and with it the perfect opportunity to start decluttering your home, but it can be difficult to decide where to start. The kitchen, often considered the heart of the home, is a great place to start spring cleaning. Here's how to get started: First, take out the oven racks and place them in the bathtub with some dish soap and hot water to clean them. Next, take everything out of the fridge and wipe down the compartments and shelves that have had food debris on them for a while. Using the same method, start cleaning the inside of your kitchen cupboards and try to declutter these areas before putting your items back away. To clean the burners on the stove, make a paste by mixing baking soda with water. Apply the paste to the areas to be cleaned. After wiping down your appliances and cleaning the compartments in the kitchen, vacuum and mop the floors to remove stubborn stains.
