A survey by t-online sheds light on hygiene habits in the household and reveals interesting differences between the sexes and age groups. According to the survey, women change their towels more often than men. Men also attach less importance to regularly replacing their toilet brushes. The survey also shows that cleaning the toilet is more of a priority for women than for men. Surprisingly, older people tend to clean their toilet more often than younger people. There are also differences when it comes to toothbrush hygiene. While the majority only replace their toothbrush after two months, some follow the advice of dentists and change it every two to three months. Interestingly, Germans change their bed linen more frequently than their toothbrushes.
