Wacken: A village goes crazy during the festival week

Not only at Wacken Open Air 2024 is there a lot going on this week, but also in the village of Wacken itself. The whole village turns into a big party zone during the festival week. From women who act as deposit police to keep the place clean, to people who take time off from their regular jobs to work as caterers, everything is there.
