The youngest sword fighters in Kiel are 17 years old, the oldest are of retirement age. They are united by their love for the Middle Ages and the joy of an extraordinary sport. Sword fighting requires precision and a well-coordinated choreography. But the often handmade, self-sewn costumes should not be neglected either. The sword fighters' next performances in Schleswig-Holstein will take place from May 18 to 20 at the Spectaculum in Hohenwestedt.
