Over the weekend, the DLRG had to treat 220 bathers in the Lübeck Bay for burns caused by jellyfish. According to the "Lübecker Nachrichten", there were numerous incidents, especially on Saturday between Niendorf and Sierksdorf. The beaches of Scharbeutz and Timmendorf were particularly affected.
