Spring messengers: Hamburg Alster swans have left their winter quarters

The Hamburg Alster swans left their winter quarters in the best weather on Tuesday and are now circling the Alster again. Swan father Olaf Nieß and his colleagues had led the animals to the Outer Alster - as always with many onlookers. Unlike in recent years, the around 90 swans have survived the winter quarters without losses due to bird flu.
