A bride went viral on Reddit after canceling her wedding and reporting it on Facebook. The almost-bride explained in a post that she also separated from her fiancé due to 'irreparable issues.' The issues were triggered by her plans to ask her wedding guests for an entrance fee. The bride wanted to charge her guests $1,500 to attend the wedding to cover the costs of the $60,000 event. 'How could we celebrate OUR dream wedding without proper funding? We sacrificed so much and only asked each guest for about $1,500,' said the bride. According to the bride, they received a total of eight checks from guests, and their GoFundMe only raised $250. The post was heavily criticized due to the bride's decision to ask guests for money for an event they were invited to.
