Political Parallels in 'Alfred J. Kwak'

That's Kra, a politician from the National Crows' Party, not to be confused with Krah, a politician from the AfD. Through the almost identical name, internet users have noticed how political the children's series 'Alfred J. Kwak' actually is. Maybe you still remember it, the little duck that sings 'Why am I so happy, so happy, so happy...' As children, it already informed us about right-wing extremism and discrimination: Orphan duck Alfred has to deal with racism from the egg. Just like his friend Winnie, a Black Duck from 'Gooseland,' where her father fights against an apartheid regime. In his adventures, the crow Kra also appears, trying to exploit Alfred. Throughout the series, Kra founds a national crows' party and seizes power. Ultimately, Alfred and his friends manage to overthrow the fascist crows' party. By the way, in the original, the crow is called 'Dolf,' so as a German-Dutch double name, it's 'Kra-Dolf.' The parallels to real life are really hard to miss.
