Galeria Karstadt Kaufhof: 16 stores and 1400 jobs to go

The department store group Galeria Karstadt Kaufhof has confirmed the closure of 16 of its 92 remaining department stores. These include three stores in Berlin alone, as the company announced. Of the current total of 12,800 jobs, 1400 are to be lost.
