The longer extended roof with a flat sloping roofline towards the rear provides more headroom in the second row of seats than in the CLA (+26 millimeters). The entry into the rear is even more comfortable due to the larger door cutouts. Compared to its predecessor, the new CLA Shooting Brake offers more headroom on each of the five seats thanks to the higher roofline. For rear passengers, the increase is 7 millimeters. In the front row, it is 14 millimeters. The legroom at the front has increased by 11 millimeters. The new CLA Shooting Brake is 35 millimeters longer (4,723 millimeters) and 27 millimeters higher (1,469 millimeters) than the previous model. The wheelbase has increased by 61 millimeters to 2,790 millimeters. The seats can be folded down in a 40:20:40 ratio as standard. This increases the luggage volume to up to 1,290 liters. Together with the 101-liter frunk under the front hood, the new CLA Shooting Brake offers more loading volume than its predecessor. The electric EASY-PACK tailgate is already standard for convenient loading and unloading. Optionally, KEYLESS-GO with HANDS-FREE ACCESS is available. The elegantly designed roof rails are also part of the standard equipment. A trailer hitch is available on request. The CLA Shooting Brake can tow up to 1,500 kilograms with rear-wheel drive and up to 1,800 kilograms with all-wheel drive - an impressive towing capacity for an electric vehicle in this segment.
