The styling of the 849 Testarossa was developed by the Ferrari Centro Stile design center under the direction of Flavio Manzoni. The team revolutionized the shape of the SF90 Stradale, emphasizing the model's technological and performance-related characteristics. The design language takes an architectural and futuristic direction with a balance between sculptural forms and graphic elements. The vertical and transverse lines create a unique visual scheme, inspired by aviation and 1970s sports prototypes. The flank is dominated by the door, whose three-dimensional modeling starts from the main character line. The deeply shaped top of the door has a complex three-dimensionality that was previously unknown in a production model, redefining the relationship between the body and passenger compartment. Thanks to Ferrari's advanced manufacturing processes, the door is made from a single aluminum molding.
