With the Temerario, Lamborghini presented the second Lamborghini HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) last August and the third major step in the company's electrification strategy. With a total output of 920 PS, the new Lamborghini Temerario sets new standards in the super sports car segment. The coupe reaches a top speed of 343 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds thanks to its V8 bi-turbo engine combined with three electric motors. In addition, the Temerario is the first and only series engine of a super sports car to reach a speed of 10,000 rpm. Lamborghini constructed the new bodyshell with a multi-technology aluminum spaceframe for the Temerario to withstand the higher stresses of the new hybrid drive. This guarantees excellent mechanical properties and remarkable efficiency in weight reduction.
