The driver-oriented cockpit of the new BMW M5 Touring conveys authentic racing flair with a redesigned M leather steering wheel, M multifunction seats, M-specific displays on the BMW Curved Display, and the standard BMW Head-Up Display. Additional features contributing to an exclusive premium ambiance include Merino leather upholstery, the BMW Interaction Bar, a 4-zone automatic climate control, M-specific interior lighting with Welcome scenario, and a Bowers & Wilkins Surround Sound System. Optionally available features include a heated steering wheel, Active Seat Ventilation, and a panoramic glass roof. Starting in spring 2025, the BMW Individual Metallic Leather Merino equipment will allow for additional luxurious accents. The luggage compartment volume of the new BMW M5 Touring can be expanded from 500 to up to 1,630 liters. The standard equipment with Comfort Access and automatic tailgate operation enables convenient loading and unloading. The maximum trailer load of the optional trailer hitch is 2,000 kg. With the latest version of BMW iDrive based on BMW Operating System 8.5, the control of vehicle functions is consistently designed for touch operation and natural language. The standard BMW Live Cockpit Professional also includes the BMW Maps navigation system and the Augmented View function. A 5G-capable antenna system ensures optimal connectivity when using digital services such as video streaming or in-car gaming. Smartphone integration is seamless via Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. In addition, the new BMW M5 Touring offers numerous personalization options via the BMW ID and the My BMW App.
