For the small coupe-crossover, two powertrain options are still available: The electrified Nissan Juke Hybrid combines an engine specifically designed for hybrid drive, developing 69 kW/94 PS and 148 Nm of torque, with a small electric motor producing 36 kW/49 PS and 205 Nm of torque. The unit is supported by a 15 kW high-voltage starter generator, an inverter, and a water-cooled 1.2 kWh hybrid battery. The result is 25 percent more power compared to the current gasoline engine. Fuel consumption is reduced by up to 40 percent in city driving and up to 20 percent in the combined standard cycle. Under the hood of the conventionally powered Nissan Juke, an efficient three-cylinder turbo gasoline engine works, delivering 86 kW/117 PS and 180 Nm of torque (200 Nm with Over-Torque function) from one liter of displacement. The compact and lightweight DIG-T adds a good dose of driving pleasure to the vehicle. As an alternative to the six-speed manual transmission, a sporty seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) is available for power transmission. In addition to paddle shifters on the steering wheel, drivers can also choose from three driving modes (Eco, Standard, Sport) to customize the driving behavior to their personal taste.
