Where to go? And where is the next charging station? Classic tasks of a copilot. Intelligent assistants take over this job in the new EQB. Navigation with Electric Intelligence calculates the currently fastest route, taking numerous factors into account. If a charging stop is necessary, you will be navigated to a charging station. When navigating with Electric Intelligence, the name says it all. Because it intelligently plans the fastest route, including charging stops, based on numerous factors and can also react dynamically to changes such as traffic jams. While a classic range calculator lives from the past, the navigation with Electric Intelligence of the EQB looks to the future. Among other things, the current electric range, the current power consumption, the topography of the planned route (due to the energy requirement) and the temperatures there (due to the charging time) are included in the calculation of the route. Other factors are the traffic situation on the planned route as well as the charging stations available there and their charging capacity. The customer does not always have to fully charge, but receives a specific recommendation of the required charging time at the charging station. The charging stations are planned in the way that is cheapest in relation to the total travel time: under certain circumstances, two short charging times with a higher charging power can be faster than single long charging
