The Volkswagen ID.7 with intelligent climate control system

The new climate control concept with intelligent air vents offers various functions: For example, the ID.7 recognizes the approaching driver by means of his key and already starts cooling the interior on hot summer days or warming it on cold days - before he gets in. Newly designed "Smart Air Vents" control the air flow and wave dynamically to distribute the air over a large area as quickly as possible. If the passengers are sitting in the car, the ventilation can either be aimed directly at the body or ventilate the interior indirectly. These functions are always visible on the new large display, and can be activated and saved individually for each user. Special wishes can be activated by voice input. The ID.7 responds to "Hello Volkswagen, my hands are cold!" by starting the steering wheel heating. In addition, warm air flows specifically to the hands.
