"Frida Kahlo. Ihre Fotografien" in Rüsselsheim

The Mexican artist Frida Kahlo is mainly famous for her unique style of painting. Her self-portraits, large and colorful paintings, often depicting herself with flowers and her famous monobrow, have been seen by everyone. Less known, however, is her relationship with photography. Her father was already working as a professional photographer, and she herself used the medium in her art. Archive photos, only reviewed after her death, currently offer a new, private view of the artist's life at the Opelvillen in Rüsselsheim.
