With expanded standard equipment, the Subaru Outback rolls into the 2023 model year: The large crossover model, which starts unchanged at prices starting at 42,640 euros, offers even more connectivity and comfort from now on. For example, the driver's own smartphone can now be wirelessly integrated into the vehicle via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Music, apps, etc. are then displayed wirelessly on the central 11.6-inch touchscreen, which can now also be locked using a PIN code - preventing unauthorized access to personal data. In addition to the smartphone, infotainment and climate control are still operated via the central display. The navigation system, which is also integrated, is enhanced by the new "what3words" service: This facilitates the worldwide search for an exact location by assigning three individual words to each three-by-three-meter square. Compared with conventional navigation data, this improves accuracy. To complement the touchscreen, the Outback also benefits from enhanced voice recognition and modified steering wheel control buttons, which can also be used to control many functions intuitively.
