The last shifting sand dune on Sylt (Schleswig-Holstein) threatens to bury the state road in the direction of List under itself. Depending on wind and weather, the huge sand dune advances three to ten meters further east each year. There is no reason to panic yet - but there is a lively need for discussion, because a solution to the problem is being sought.
