Liver King arrested for "terrorist threats" against Joe Rogan

The social media personality "Liver King", real name Brian Johnson, was arrested for allegedly making "terrorist threats" against podcaster/comedian Joe Rogan. Johnson, who gained online fame by eating raw meat and promoting a naturalistic lifestyle, posted videos on Instagram threatening violence against Rogan. "Man to man, I will fight you," said Johnson, making it clear that he is "ready to die". Upon learning that Johnson traveled to Austin, Texas, where Rogan resides, authorities contacted the comedian who confirmed feeling threatened by the posts. "Based on this information, investigators obtained a warrant for Johnson's arrest for terrorist threat," the Austin police said in a statement. Johnson was arrested without incident at the Four Seasons Hotel Austin and taken to Travis County Jail. Rogan had previously called out Johnson on his podcast "The Joe Rogan Experience" for lying about his steroid use. This was before the influencer publicly admitted to the crime in 2022.
