Supreme Court of the USA Rejects Appeal Against Ed Sheeran Copyright Lawsuit
The Supreme Court of the USA has declined to hear a copyright lawsuit alleging that Ed Sheeran copied the song "Let's Get It On" by Marvin Gaye in his hit single "Thinking Out Loud". The US Court of Appeals had previously ruled that the songs were not "substantially similar", citing differences in melody and lyrics.
