Princess Anne suffered injuries that experts believe "could be serious" after being kicked by a horse recently. The 73-year-old princess spent a second night in hospital in Bristol after sustaining minor head injuries and a concussion. Royal expert Michael Cole believes the overnight hospital stay indicates that the injuries are "not trivial." Cole added, "A concussion is not trivial at any age, but at 73 it could be serious." The ambulance service was called to the princess's estate at Gatcombe Park, and she was transferred to Southmead Hospital in Bristol. "Her Royal Highness remains in Southmead Hospital in Bristol for observation and is expected to recover quickly and fully," a statement from Buckingham Palace said.
