Carmaker attempts to imitate Range Rover stunt, fails miserably

Chinese carmaker Chery wanted to promote its new Fengyun X3L electric SUV with a spectacular stunt. The car was supposed to drive up the 999 steps to the famous "Heaven's Gate" on Tianmen Mountain in China. Range Rover had caused a sensation with the same stunt in 2018. This time, however, the attempt failed halfway up.
