Good Samaritans rescue beached dolphin washed onto rocky shore in Philippines
This is the moment a huge crowd gathered in Sorsogon, Philippines on October 8 as a Risso's dolphin was washed onto a rocky shore by a powerful tide. Good Samaritans jumped into the water to help the poor creature. Risso's dolphins are among the larger species of dolphin, they can weigh 660-1,100lbs and are identifiable by their white scars, caused by a lack of re-pigmentation.
